Davin Joseph convocato al Pro Bowl

Tra i convocati al Pro Bowl, che si disputerà il 29 gennaio all’Aloha Stadium di Honolulu, figura anche – incredibile ma vero! – un giocatore dei Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Si tratta della RG Davin Joseph, che insieme a due giocatori dei Saints, Evans e Nicks, comporrà il trio di Guardie chiamate per la NFC.

Il Pro Bowl è un partita dal fascino modesto, in pratica una amichevole di fine stagione, che tra l’altro si giocherà la settimana prima del Super Bowl dunque senza alcuni dei migliori protagonisti. Ad ogni modo credo sia comunque una bella soddisfazione per un giocatore essere chiamato a disputare questo “all-star game”, e dunque complimenti a Davin Joseph, che forse non si aspettava nemmeno lui di essere convocato, stando alle sue dichiarazioni dal sito ufficiale dei Bucs:

“It comes as a surprise,” said Joseph. “Up front, we’ve been working hard all year, just challenging each other, from Game One to Game 16. It wasn’t anything I really expected. We’ve all been playing good up front, and this is just a great representation of the group of guys I play with. I wouldn’t be here without them. I want to say thank you to God, number one, and of course thank you to my teammates and coaches, and everybody that has helped me this season.”
