Era nell'aria, ma adesso finalmente la notizia è ufficiale: Raheem Morris NON è più l'allenatore dei Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Termina così una delle pagine più buie nei 35 anni di vita della nostra squadra, umiliata negli ultimi mesi da una serie ininterrotta di tremende batoste, come mai era accaduto nemmeno nei primi anni di vita della franchigia. One year after leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their biggest single-season turnaround in victories in club history, Raheem Morris was fired Monday.

The Bucs announced the decision to dismiss Morris after three seasons with a four paragraph release. The team has scheduled a 3 p.m. news conference at One Buc Place.

"We want to thank Coach Morris for all his hard work and dedication as head coach of the Buccaneers," said Bucs co-chairman Joel Glazer.

Morris went 17-31, losing 10 straight games to finish the 2011 season.

"I have a lot of respect ... for the passion Coach Morris gave to our team, but this change is one we felt was necessary," said GM Mark Dominik.
